BEST winter tire on the market

I bought a set of Nokian Tyres Hakkapeliitta 10 studded tires for my wife's 2024 Ford Expedition. After I got them installed, I had to take a 2-hour drive across the western Canada prairies in the middle of December in a nasty blizzard snowstorm, after it had rained during the day and created a sheet of ice across all the highways. The amount of confidence I had thanks to the grip, traction and stability the vehicle had was MIND BLOWING. I was comfortably traveling at 90-95km/h while passing other vehicles that were doing 60-65km/h. I have run other winter tires in the past like the Toyo Observe lineup, the Bridgestone Blizzak lineup, and the Firestone Winterforce lineup...... NONE OF THEM compare to the Nokian Hak 10. I have peace of mind now, knowing that my wife's vehicle is equipped with THE BEST winter tire on the market. Tried, tested and proven. Thanks Nokian Tyres!!!!

We purchased these tires for our 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve and they are incredible. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a tire that tracks through slush, ice, snow and anything old man winter could throw your way.

Hakka 10 studded - 2 Winters Survived Review

We live off-grid in the middle of nowhere in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies and we got a 2012 Honda Ridgeline as our main rig two years ago and put the Hakka 10s on right around first snowfall. These tires are improved over the studded Hakka 9 and Nordman (Hakka 7) we have on other vehicles. They do deeper snow better (6”-12”), more sure footed on ice if that’s possible, and perform better in rain and mud. To say they are better in slush is true, but no tire I’ve ever had has performed well in slush at speeds above 45mi/hr, and the mild melt in between snow and ice is still a challenge, it’s more doable in Hakka 10 studded, though getting slideways is still part of the game when lumbering through 4” - 6"+ of slush with ice layer underneath. Still haven’t had to put on chains no matter the condition and driving on ice is a magical experience with these studded Hakka 10s.

The superior grip on ice and snow makes you feel and think that safety was the main focus of these tires. We love winter sports and these HAKKAPELIITTA 10 SUVs get us to the most remote ski resorts here in Idaho and Montana. Thank you Nokian Tyres.

I have been a winter tire guy for years travelling across Canada from Thunder Bay to Alberta north and south. I have driven many types of vehicles and several brands of winter tires. These have and are performing better than any ice radial or studded tires of the past in all categories. Looking forward my partner says now when I drive it’s like I am playing with a new toy.
